Hester’s Bottoms Campground Policies
Hester’s Bottoms Campground works hard to serve all our guests and hopes that everyone visiting the park has an enjoyable experience. We encourage guests to follow the camp rules and respect other campers.
Violation of any of the campground rules and regulations can result in removal from the park with no refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
- ALL camping fees are payable in advance.
- No refunds within 14 days of your arrival
- NO ONE under the age of 18 will be allowed to camp overnight without adult supervision.
- ALL trash must be taken to the dumpsters located at the dump station.
- No bottles, cans or cigarette butts left on the grounds or sites.
- ALL vehicles must display their parking pass while in the park.
- There are 2 parking passes included with each site rental, 4 with buddy sites.
- Visit the general store to obtain a parking pass ($3) for any additional vehicles.
- Hester’s Bottoms is NOT responsible for ANY and ALL VEHICLES on campground premises.
- Only one (1) RV camper per individual site. Only two (2) RV camper per buddy site.
- NO fireworks permitted
- Speed Limit of 5 mph is strictly enforced. Always yield to children and golf carts.
- NO mini-bikes, 3-4 wheelers are NOT allowed, no SXS.
- Golf Carts are allowed. There is no additional permit or fee required by the campground.
- Drivers MUST be 16 years old and hold a valid drivers license to operate a cart.
- Proof of insurance needs to be presented to the general store.
- No one is to be driving under the influence of alcohol at any time.
- NO ATV’s, UTV’s or any gas-powered vehicles (other than a car or truck) are permitted.
- Pets are welcome (with the exception of Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, and Chows)
- All pets MUST be registered at the general store with up-to-date vaccination record.
- ALL pets MUST be leashed at ALL times and cleaned after.
- We ask that you respect your camping neighbors by NOT allowing your pets to disturb others’ campsites.
- Registered campers are responsible for the CONDUCT and SAFETY of their children and guests at ALL times. Campers will assume responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their children or guests, regardless of age.
- Visiting hours are from 7 am to 10 pm. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm and noise should be kept to a minimum until 6 am.
- This includes the operation of TV’s, radios, music systems and boisterous behavior.
- Legal drinking age is 21 and will be enforced.
- Possession or discharge of firearms, BB Guns, slingshots, bows and arrows, paintball guns and/or fireworks is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
- NO HUNTING.
- Cutting or nailing into trees is STRICTLY prohibited. Do NOT break branches or attempt to debark trees.
- No digging on campground premises.
- Washing of cars and RV’s is not allowed.
- Campfires must be of a REASONABLE size.
- Build campfires in rings only.
- Burn WOOD ONLY — NO cans, bottles or trash.
